I have been working at a gas station/convenience store for a year and a half. I work there as a store clerk. My duties are to run the cash register, clean, and stock the store. I work on the graveyard shift 10pm to 6am. I meet a lot of weird and interesting people working nights. There’s the crazy guy that comes in and buys his liquor, cigarettes, and lotto scratchers. He sometimes buys lotto tickets for whomever is working on shift when he stops by. There’s the regular customers that stop buy and always buy the same things, it sometimes surprises them when you already have the items they buy prepared for them to purchase. Most of my customers that stop at my store are just getting off work and want something to help them relax, they will purchase things like alcohol and tobacco. It is a good place to work for, I am close to moving up into lower level management. I have fun working there because my coworkers are fun people to work with.
