#newsteem is resulting in far better rewards for content creators now. Curation matters again. Steem prices are beginning to rise from the depths of bid bot buyers and sellers dumping their ill-gotten gains for Bitcoin. But if you're going to downvote my constructive criticism comments with a sock puppet account, you're not going to engender any sympathy from me if @themarkymark keeps flagging you into oblivion.

You mean there was a possibility of sympathy? I'll remove the downvote in a bit.
ArtTurtle is not a sock puppet any more than upboater or buildawhale or mackbot or a slew of other bots that have downvoted my posts. And why be upset about a downvote? It's #newsteem.
Steem is having a false rally. Its one of the most manipulated altcoins on the exchanges. It will be $0.05 by January.
If the new 50/50 rewards scheme worked than ArtTurtle would be earning a lot more steem. It's not. With 3000 SP curation rewards are about 3 STEEM per week. That's a whopping $0.45!! Woo hoo! Brave pays me more like $15 in BAT every month just to use the browser. And I get another $30 to $100 of BAT as tips to my websites and youtube channels. Steemit has never paid out that much. Brave requires zero investment. Steemit in based entirely on the size of your investment, a requirement that has caused a lot of people to lose a lot of money. Minds.com is even better. For no money down and very little time invested I've launched a much more successful social media campaign that has attracted many real, genuine people that interact with my content. I get occassional downvotes on minds too but I never have to worry about that removing my rewards and there are no tyrannical whales acting like sociopathic monsters wrecklessly and needlessly destroying other peoples accounts, so you know, it's better.
