The olive or olive tree is an evergreen and very long-lived plant: in favorable climatic conditions it can live even a thousand years. It has very fine weaving and uneven grain. It is used for handicrafts and rustic objects, even turned, floor planks, such as veneer for making panels and furniture. The plants grow in all the Mediterranean countries
