How the Women Are Working At Women Empowerment Part-9

in #women7 years ago

Women empowerment is one of the most challenging social issues in Bangladesh. It is the ever running issue all over the country. The development of women skill is more important for developing countries like Bangladesh. It will not only help to empower them but also to give them dignity and respect in our society. To end the family violence, women should have the freedom to express their opinion, and have the opportunity to empower themselves.

When I go through our slum area, I find women are dominated by male members. Lack of education is not only the cause of family violence. Women need to realize their probability and opportunity to change their lives. They can support their family too and this is why the importance of @WomenEmpowerment comes from. The support them by training and allowing them to realize their dream can not only help their entire family but also the whole community.

@WomenEmpowerment was founded by Mohammed Abdul Aziz @azizbd to empower some underprivileged women on 7 January 2018 who are from the different slums. The social venture helps them to access free training and get paid for their work.

The social venture needs training materials and other equipment continuously. Today I bought many some materials for them going in the market so they can continue training on Friday. I am so happy to share that we received 15 SBD donation from #ADollarADay project run by @pennsif. We are going to power up the SP for any future use. The donation will allow us to interect more with supporters and followers. Thanks to @aggroed, @cecicastor, @cryptocurator, @deliberator, @goldendawne, @mother2chicks, @starkerz, @vibeof100monkeys, @discordia for supporting @WomenEmpowerment via #ADollarADay project. Your support will definitely help to grow the community development in bangladesh through the social venture.

As we have planned to share our products on steemit, we need to invest on SP too.

They have been doing hard work with @womenempowerment. We are hoping to finish the training by September and get our own shop which will be needed a big investment. As steemit community is supporting, I feel happy to add my effort and planned idea work with them. Also we would like to train more women after the first batch at @SchoolForSDG4. As many women are interested to join, we will keep supporting by training. Because the training will help them to work with any garments locally or buy a sewing machine to work at home. We also has plan to support them with a small loan, it will be depends on our funding in this purpose.

Let's support the @womenempowerment by upvote and resteem. Because we need your support to grow on steemit and your support will help us to get more encouragement to work with these women.

Very powerful words in your post. I have not been able to get back to your blog for some time due to my family issues. Looks like everyone has been busy and progress has been made.

I know we are from different cultures yet some unfortunate things are common...My own daughter was in a bad marital situation many years ago. When she became concerned for her safety and her daughter's safety she found the strength to walk away. I recall telling her that she needed to get to the point in her life where she could fully take care of herself and her daughter, that she should never have to get herself in a situation where she "has to stay"...

She got some training enough to get a job and worked hard at building a life for herself and my granddaughter. She taught that empowerment to my granddaughter who turned out to be an exceptional woman. The key though here it that she was able to demonstrate things so my granddaughter could learn at a young age, and then as she got older could my daughter could and did teach her more.

That is some of the potential I see in what you are doing. As these women learn a skill and earn money and have choices, their children will learn by their example.

as a woman I strongly agree with what you wrote sir @ r2cornel and my friend @womenempowerment, I am as a mother very proud to see my child happy.tanoa the unfair treatment of husbands. usually women and children often get violence both physical violence as well as mental. I strongly support the protection of children and women.

You really great man @r2cornell

These courageous women deserve all the credit. The are setting the stage for a new future!

@r2cornell sir, It was very good. The women of Bangladesh are self-reliant. And they are going forward for the future development of him.

Wonderful sir

Sorry to hear her story but it was great example for other women who feel fear and sometime compelled to accept circumstances. I believe that nothing is impossible to a willing mind and she proved it for her and her daughter. Take my best regards to her. I may be know your granddaughter who is on steemit as well? She shares some creative work here. Everyone should use 100% of his/her possibility to change life and i am sure your daughter tried to overcome her difficulties by hardwork and she done it.

Well, i am working on the development and hope we can open a new shop where they can work in day time and take order from other local women. Also I will work to get order over internet and so on. Let's see how my effort allow them to change it and also I am happy that people supporting me as well which encourage me a lot too.

what a creativity!! lol.....

Its really amazing. Thank you so much for sharing.

Happy to help support this project through A Dollar A Day.
