Do men have the rights to decide what women should wear? If you are in India then to a certain extent yes. Here men do have a say in what women's should wear even if they are in no way helping in making our lives better. Our elected politicians blame the rape cases on the dresses we wear.
It is sad that men want us to wear decent Indian clothes while they don't stick to Dhoti Kurta ( men's traditional attire). Have we ever told you to wear decent clothes instead of those baggy jeans that let's everyone know which brand of Chaddi ( brief) you are wearing? No, it's none of our business. As long you are not naked it's perfectly fine and so should it be with you.

Everybody has the right to live life their way and only those who are responsible for your upbringing have the say on your decisions and not any random person on the road. It is high time that men realise that they have the say only on their daughters and that too only if she allows.
The recent incident in Indore shocked me. A model was travelling on her bike when some unknown men pulled down her skirt asking her 'what she is wearing inside' making her lose her balance and skid causing an accident. It is so lame that these men don't know what is worn inside dresses. Do men wear clothes without their undies? No right? Then why the question.
The model was told by a passerby that wearing such clothes caused her this accident which made her all the more angry. Those dirty mindset were not responsible for the accident but her choice of clothes were.
The girl is all set to file a complaint against those unindentified men in the police station and she is being backed by many independent women and organisation that support her views.
Parents of young school going boys, it is your responsibility to educate your sons. Please tell her what is worn inside pants and skirts and also that clothes are one's personal choice. I hope that would make at least the next generation a little sane.

It's really a great post mam @samysamy.. We all want freedom..We would wear clothes,which we like. This is the attitude of the people.Firstly, the human eye should be changed, only then girls are their actual freedom. I agree with your thinking mam and also like your post..go on mam.
