I am a new user in steem, you and your friends are a steam promoter. I feel bad when new users like me are introduced to the platform, I give up because they are not recognized and no detail explained. Your team and you do a good job with recognize the user completely and I will be happy to be part of your team.
@aggroed, In the previous lecture I suggested that I wish audio transcripts could be transcribed that would give more speed to the information of those who do not speak English. It is easier to have the information and we have it written in English.
Thanks again for hosting @aggroed, sorry I broke up with you :) lol You are pretty quick on your feet. I want to clear up any misunderstanding that may have arisen from one point I said, I have talked to a few people who were confused by something - I am quoting a reply I left in a comment on @abh12345's post here:
"There may have been a slight misunderstanding of something I said here, RE the low, medium and high stakeholders voting on Curie witness decisions. I probably should have used the familiar terms minnow, dolphin and whale :) What I was trying to convey is that unlike most (all?) of the other top 20 witnesses, which are in fact high stake users (if not whales, big dolphins), many of the stakeholders who vote on Curie witness decisions are in fact minnows. I think minnows as a group have very little representation on Steem blockchain and I wanted to point out that the Curie community witness does in fact include minnows in the decision making process. All Curie top curators, reviewers and operators have an equal vote in witness decisions regardless of SP. (what I hope the words I said in the interview did NOT convey was that there are different tiers of importance within the Curie voting hierarchy - as there are none, it is a straight democracy with equally weighted votes)."
I am so sad that I missed this. Was waiting for it so much but my network provider decided to mess me up so much this night . I had a very hard time login I'm this night and when I eventually did the connection disappeared again. I feel so frustrated right now but what can i do? Ama just chill for the next one and hope I participate successfully .
This community is making soo much progress and its still such a young platform. The next couple years are going to be so huge for scaling Steem! Off-topic but when are d-tube videos going to show up on Steemit posts like Youtube videos do? Thanks guys for all you do : )
It's a good one to see people come together just for the progress of this great platform. I pray for more success for this platform. More power to Your elbow
I hope from this meeting something very positive will come out.I have faith on you people that you will find a better way for all people here.As a minnow i expect there will be something for us.Wish you people have very fruitful meeting.@upvoted and resteemed
This is an awesome scheme intended to deepen community awareness of the state of the platform. Thousands of Steemians will certainly be grateful to you @aggroed for this program.
Steemit Community is moving forward, the witness is doing a great work in the community and people are going extra mile to explore steemit as well. We're moving forward as I can see from your post @aggroed
I am currently listening to the audio while typing this comment. I know it is 2 hour long video but i think those who are interested in growth of steemit, i think you should watch this video. This will give you some what good picture of what is happening on steemit.
Great show! Getting a little excited about all the projects people have going now. I started chatting to much when I should have been listening though. Do much to learn while I am still a plankton.

It's the first time I listen to a recording of Steem Witness Panel. No wonder, I'm less than a month old on steemit.
Very interesting to hear the opinion of witnesses, what they're working on etc.! It's good to see some of my own concerns about blockchain growing size in line with popularity and activity (mainly due to size of posts and comments) are at least voiced (+1 witness vote to @furion). Hopefully solutions are being actively sought out.
Bringing quality content to the surface is a tough job and only going to get tougher the more people will join. That's why I appreciate the efforts of @curie and voted as a witness as well. Communities should help create a more targeted content and remove much noise.
My thanks to all the witnesses (especially the permanent ones). I still have many votes to distribute, but I'm in no hurry, since they are finite and I still have a lot to learn.
I enjoyed tuning in, @aggroed, and getting a peek behind the scenes re: what witnesses do and are up to.
Especially gratifying to listen to Carl Gnash of Curie, who I think do excellent work—as a poet, I’m particularly grateful for their fine curation.
I hope to check out your artist panel, next month!
All the best, Yahia
PS - How do I apply to be on your show? Here’s a link to my work on PBS Newshour

very good advice and will make it easier for users who do not speak english to read it

@brian-rhodes If you turn on the captioning on this video you will see its pretty much spot on.
Thanks @aggroed for turning on the auto captions feature. Not everyone does that.
