Sponsorship
We have had one suggestion for a ’sponsorship’ until now and that’s @steemarity. This is a final call, for anyone with any ideas or needs for help in running an initiative to reach out to us. If you want more info on what we want to do, here is a recap:
We are playing with ideas of promoting behaviour, supporting initiatives, raising awareness, etc so if you have an initiative/idea(ideology)/community/or anything of the likes and want/need help, let us know. We are thinking about upvoting posts, creating a upvote-trail, delegation, sponsoring competitions/challenges and more along those lines.
What we need to know from you is:
- What is your group/initiative/community/movement’s name (if you have a name)?
- What binds you together?
- How many members are involved?
- Is the initiative limited to one platform or across multiple platforms?
- What would you like from us and how often?
- How would you like to be incentivised?
Competition
The competition to design a logo for @swisswitness is now finished and @wolfje has created a post about this a few days ago. At this moment we’re waiting on the designer @ivannewgate89 to give his final OK, before we start implementing the logo.

Witness Update
Our server is running smoothly and we’re on track with our plans. We are now Active Rank #102 and we haven’t missed any more blocks since the first one.
We had some smaller issues with the price feed, but @sirwries has fixed this now and he’s going to create our own bash script.
We have spoken about getting a second server and this is now reality. We have the second server and it should be running later today. In the next step we will set it up to become a backup for the primary server, but this will take a little longer to ensure that everything is setup correctly.
@felander is currently doing some heavy networking in the crypto world at the Crypto World Zug conference in Zug. If you want to know how that went, have a look at @CryptoWorldZug as they’ll post updates and info’s over there and I @felander has also written his initial thoughts on it in this post

Excellent news of his progress as a witness, however it would be great to implement strategies to help the little ones who just started. Create a community, family, friends where grow a link where one expresses that is proud of my witness @swisswitness who helps the Steemit community. I think they will be remembered in history as successful witnesses in Steemit in this way.
That sounds like good advice, do you have any concrete ideas how we could do this?
Spreading abundance, helping with projects that motivate the community, educating them, for example, an example person who learns is @aggroed a person who helps small people distributing their abundance in different projects.
Yes, this is what we want to do, but do you know of any specific projects that we can help out with our individual powers and maybe the backup of our witness?
With another server running now things are getting really serious! What do you mean with sponsorshipping?
WE are looking for ideas, people or projects that we can support as a witness or as 3 individuals to help grow the community. I already have my competitions and @felander is very active in the crypto community in Zug, but we're looking for a way/idea to support the community here on Steemit. We believe in this platform and we want to help it stabalise (currently there is too much uncertainty and people quitting) and grow. Do you know of any way or initiative?
Maybe an idea can be to build a stronger Swiss community, it can be a side objective since there are not many Steemians....
That's funny as this is what I just answered to someone else:
"The idea is to help motivate initiatives that are there to help build communities. We believe that a strong community is crucial for the existence of this platform, over the past several months the platform has stabilised a lot, many people have left during the stagnation and devaluation of STEEM and we want to contribute to strenghtening the platform and working to make it grow naturally with people that want to engage and do stuff for one another.
We are now searching for ideas and initiatives to support this and to help build it grow. Currently we are still in the development phase. As a Swiss Witness our preferred route would be to solidify the Swiss community, but that's only a very small part of the community, so we want to widen our scope and see what ideas pop up."
So yes, we want to support the Swiss Community, but we need to be open and make it scaleable.
