@Chainsquad.com is the witness account for @chainsquad, which is a “blockchain consultation and development company” based in Germany whose CEO is @xeroc. Readers with eidetic memories may remember Xeroc from the @witness.svk witness report, where he was successful (along with Sigve) in signing the first successful transaction via Trezor to the Steemit blockchain.
Chainsquad maintains the popular service Streemian, which provides a wide variety of (mostly free) services. It is probably best known as the premier tool for creating curation trails, allowing you to “trail” the vote of other curators you trust in an automated fashion. If you’ve ever seen a flood of votes come in to your Steemd page after a large and influential voter (such as Curie or RandowhaleTrail), you’ve probably been the beneficiary of one of Streemian’s curation trails.
Streemian also allows you to automate and schedule the posting of articles you have pre-written. They provide syndication services (to Steemit) for content posted on other RSS platforms, allowing you to post somewhere like Wordpress and have your content ported over to Steemit for rewards automatically. Users can also build a guild with the “FanBase” tool, interact with RSS feeds, or sign up for a number of notifications for Steemit provided by their premium service.
Chainsquad develops and regularly updates a number of tools and repositories via their blog page, including python libraries for both Steemit and Bitshares. Their most recent new release is the python-peerplays library. A recent list of updates is readily available via their blog page.
As for Xeroc, he has been around Steemit since the beginning, with the first 3 pages of his ChainBB blogroll showing posts “2 years old”. He is also a huge personal supporter of the Graphene blockchains, Bitshares in particular, and the projects of Dan Larimer which he “summarized” in a lengthy history post linked below. If you need any information on changes or updates to the Bitshares platform or protocol, simply look for the blue penguin.
Chainsquad.com holds 56,000 SP (across the 3 named accounts) and is NOT powering down.

I had heard of Streemian, but did not know about all of it's services, nor who was behind it.
I'm really interested in the syndication services feature that you described which allows for posting to a WordPress blog and then having the article automatically posted to SteemIt for rewards.
I think that's a great idea. I have a lot of blogs in many different niches, and so for me that may be a great option to "kill two birds with one stone," so to speak.
The only problem that I could see is the possibility of being penalized for duplicate content, either by Google as it relates to indexing my blog favorably, or by a SteemIt bot that may mistake a duplicate post for plagiarism and flag me.
What are your thoughts on this?

I can't speak for the Google side, but the main bot that would get you on the Steemit side is cheetah. That won't be a problem though, as it doesn't flag you. Reply to the inevitable first comment from cheetah and link to your blog - they'll add you to the whitelist and cheetah will ignore you from then on.
Oh awesome. That's easy enough. I will definitely be looking into this.
The ability to create content with a WordPress WYSWYG editor and have it syndicate right to SteemIt is huge in my opinion.
At least for me it is. That would not only be a big timesaver for me, it would allow me to get a lot more visibility.
Streemian allows us to automate and schedule the posting of articles that we have pre-written. In this way if we are not online or out of touch from steemit community then our posts will be automated posted. I think this is very fruitful feature who are mostly busy and and only 1 or 2 days free. they can schedule there post although they busy and have no time to online for steemit community .
It's true. I know Jerry Banfield is a proponent of that feature
