DaVinci Witness Update # 2

Hi everyone from DaVinci.Witness!

Today we would like to inform you about the further developments of our staff, although we do not publish updates on the platform very often, as we are working hard on the main project, dedicating lots of resources to it.

We have created two distinct profiles, @davici.polyglot and @davinci.times which, with their separate activities, are linked to the main profile @davinci.witness, of which they belong.

The @ davinci.polyglot is dedicated to the translations of posts considered worthy of attention, which for this reason are translated into English, Italian or any other language (on your request), in order to facilitate the dissemination of these contents to those who wish to use them. Weekly, the Italian translation of a post will be published, chosen among the winners of the davinci.times showing the tag " #davinci-times ".

The project @davinci.times deals with the research and the daily promotion of scientific and technological articles, in order to disseminate science and support scientific publishers. We have established an excellent collaboration with the Itastem and SteemStem projects, because we believe in these scientific communities.

As a result of the increasing resources of hardware and software configurations required by the witnesses, we promptly decided to update our server.

Our current configuration, which is based on hosting @privex in Germany, has been updated with these features:

• 128 Gb Ram
• Intel i7
• 2x2TB HDD
• Ubuntu

Although at present 64GB of RAM is sufficient, we preferred to protect ourselves, increasing the resources available and having a quiet management autonomy in the future months.
The server change was made without loss of blocks and without downtime for this we want to thank @privex and @someguy123 for providing us with the new server in a very short time.

We also want to express our honor in having people in our community believe in our project, which we value and appreciate, such as: @justtryme90 and @lemouth (STEEMSTEM administrators), and not forgetting people of fundamental importance in the Steemit scientific community, such as: @zest, @carloserp-2000 and @iamphysical.

We want to communicate that we are always active and available for any projects or collaborations, designed to grow our ambitious project.
So well they are people who enjoy esteem and desire for knowledge.

Oggi vorremmo informarvi sugli ulteriori sviluppi del nostro staff, nonostante non pubblichiamo molto spesso degli aggiornamenti riguardo la piattaforma, in quanto ci stiamo impegnando assiduamente nel progetto principale, dedicandogli molte risorse.

Abbiamo creato due distinti profili, @davici.polyglot e @davinci.times che con le loro distinte attività, sono collegate al profilo principale @davinci.witness, di cui fanno capo.

Il @davinci.polyglot è dedicato alle traduzioni dei post considerati meritevoli di attenzione, che per questo vengono tradotti in inglese, in italiano o in qualsiasi altra lingua (su vostra richiesta), in modo da permettere una più facile diffusione di questi contenuti a chi desidera usufruirne. Settimanalmente, verrà pubblicata la traduzione in italiano di un post, scelto tra i premiati del davinci.times riportante il tag " #davinci-times ".

Il progetto @davinci.times si occupa della ricerca e della promozione quotidiana di articoli scientifici e tecnologici, in modo da divulgare la scienza e sostenere gli editori scientifici. Abbiamo instaurato un'eccellente collaborazione con i progetti Itastem e SteemStem, perché crediamo in queste comunità scientifiche.

A seguito delle crescenti risorse di configurazioni hardware e software richieste ai witness, abbiamo prontamente deciso di aggiornare il nostro server.

La nostra configurazione attuale, che appoggia su hosting @privex in Germania, è stata aggiornata con queste caratteristiche:

Sebbene allo stato attuale siano sufficienti 64GB di Ram, abbiamo preferito premunirci, aumentando le risorse disponibili e avere una tranquilla autonomia di gestione nei mesi futuri.
Il cambio server è stato effettuato senza perdita di blocchi e senza fermi macchina per questo vogliamo ringraziare @privex e @someguy123 per averci fornito il nuovo server in tempi velocissimi.

Vogliamo inoltre esprimere il nostro onore nell'avere nella nostra comunità persone che credono nel nostro progetto, che stimiamo e apprezziamo, come: @justtryme90 e @lemouth (amministratori di STEEMSTEM), e non dimenticandoci persone di fondamentale importanza nella comunità scientifica di Steemit, quali: @zest, @carloserp-2000 e @iamphysical.

Vogliamo comunicare che siamo sempre attivi e disponibili per eventuali progetti o collaborazioni, atte a far crescere il nostro ambizioso progetto.
Quindi ben vengano persone che godono di stima e voglia di conoscenza.
