A winter wonderland in China's hinterland
Temperatures in the city of Genhe, in north China’s Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, have recently dropped to minus 30℃. With an average annual temperature of minus 5.3℃, the city is covered by snow most of the year. The lowest temperature ever recorded in Genhe, known as the coldest city in China, was minus 58℃.
