Apresenta-se perfeitamente equilibrado e com evidentes notas de madeira provenientes do estágio de 9 meses em barricas de carvalho."

"From the grape varieties Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Sousão and Tinta Barroca that are planted in schist soils in privileged locations in the Douro region, we created this wine with great elegance and intense aroma of red fruits and spices. This wine benefited from an ageing period of 9 months in oak barrels."

Procurava sabores mais suaves para contrastar com os vinhos alentejanos a que estou habituado e este serviu na perfeição. Elegante e equilibrado. Bom acompanhamento para lombo de porco assado no forno com batatas, arroz e legumes.

I was looking for softer wines compared to the alentejo wines I usually drink and this fitted that purpose perfectly. Elegant and balanced. A good fit for roasted pork loin with potatoes, rice and vegetables.
