Season 6 Round 1 has officially ended!
This means that Round 2 can now begin and we already have a winner of 50 STEEM! Wondering who won the first round and which photo we get to create some artwork with?

It is always a difficult time for me to choose only one winner, but we need to, so I did. I thought that this one would be a great foundation to build upon as Season 6 continues! Congratulations @dwells! 50 STEEM has been sent to your wallet! Now, people get a chance to turn this most excellent photo into an amazing piece of art!
Here is the progression that this contest follows.
ROUND 1 = PHOTO – Take a photo to enter – COMPLETED
ROUND 2 = ART – Use winning photo from Round 1 to make a piece of art - BEGINS NOW!
ROUND 3 = MEME – Use winning art from Round 2 to make a meme
ROUND 4 = POETRY – Use winning meme from Round 3 to make a poem
ROUND 5 = SONG – Use winning poem from Round 4 to make an original song.
Here are the official rules for Round 2:
- Using the winning photo provided by @dwells from Round 1 as the inspiration, create your own original artwork.
- You can use any medium, such as paint, pencil, clay, digital, coffee, etc, to create your art.
- The winning piece of art will be used as the inspiration for the meme in the next round, so you may want to keep that in mind.
- Enter original work and provide your entry in a reply to this post.
- You can still make a post out of your entry, but your post does not count as an entry, only your reply.
- Keep everything kid-friendly and G rated.
- You must enter by midnight this coming Sunday (CST) in order for your entry to be considered valid.
- By entering, you are giving me full permission to use your entry however I wish.
Have fun and get creative! I'm looking forward to seeing what you come up with!
Also, if you enjoy making posts with stuff like this, why not make a post out of your entry as well. For one, it raises more awareness about the contest. Also, it gives you another chance to gain some STEEM for your efforts, and many times steemians have made more off of their posts about a contest entry than the winners of the contests did! What a crazy place this steemit is!

I should probably try for some other filters though. All of these were done with a default Filter that isn't very good.

My original pic idea was to combine Ryu and Zangief from Street Fighter. This filter makes me think of Raiden from Street Fighter.
I've got no knowledge of Street fighter, but googling it I can see how it might "corrupt" your idea a bit XS
In any case, I loved playing around with Deep Dream, and probably wouldn't have done it without this competition and your image, so thanks for not complaining about me feeding your image to a hungry AI ;)

No, each round is completely separate, other than you must use the winning piece from the previous round as a basis for your entry. If you want to turn the winning photo into a work of art, please do! Just enter with the piece by replying to this post!

I actually intended on uploading some of those videos. I was pushing 350 lbs back then. I've dropped nearly 60 lbs since then.
Need a bit of clarification for Round 2 @papa-pepper. What do you mean by make it a piece of art?
You could paint or draw a version. Remake it out of clay or playdough. Do a digital remake of it.... Please see the second bullet point of the official rules for more info and see if that helps.

Papa @papa-pepper. Hoping there could be some consolations to top 5 entries. One winner is so hard to deal with tbh.
That is part of the reason that I encourage those entering to make a post out of their entry too. Then they have 2 chances to get something in return for their efforts. To have the contest progress, I can only have one winner per round, but some rounds I have given out many other prizes and a few times everyone got the main prize. It just depends on what I am up to at the time. I do not want to give away ALL my STEEM and SBD, but I do give away a lot to bless others.
