    Se if you can find someone who owns a Ball Python and ask if you can check it out. Most of the time, people are more afraid of they think snakes are, rather than what they actually are.

    Find a docile one that won't bite and slowly check it out.

    Maybe they have something in my local ZOO, and I'll try to handle it somehow...

    When I saw Ragnar die in that hole, was totally frightened and was unable to move, I was terrified let's just leave it at that :P
