Oh how I love winter time in the islands, We may not get snow or 4 seasons but what we do get is Whales.
Big beautiful huge massive creatures of the deep that come from many miles away just to enjoy our warm Hawaiian sun and waters. In the beginning we'll just see a few swimming by, but as time goes on then we get to see them playing in the surf, breaching and just having fun. It takes a lot of patience to film these animals due to the great expanse of the sea and they may be huge but they are quick when your trying to capture great moments. It seems like mere seconds that you can see them above the ocean. This video is a compilation of a few days during whales season. I do have more whale videos to be shared on another day.

The number 1 thing on my bucket list is to swim with humpbacks. I love whales. Have since my first whale watching trip out of Half Moon Bay, California to see the humpbacks. I still remember the humpy that swam up the Sacramento River.
