I agree with everything you said. Unfortunately, growing on Steemit can be a grind.

This is a fundamental flaw of our society in general. As much as we'd love to believe Steemit is for the people, by the people; And as much as I'd like to believe the original concept was sincere...

A lot of the top 20 witnesses have their jobs, because they know someone else. Politics exists here as well.

If only everyone knew how the platform worked, and stopped blindly casting votes... We could change the hierarchy.

A lot of the top 20 are great people, that do a lot for the community.

Personally, I hate the grind...but love steemit. So I invested some of my own money in myself.
