You have to ask them. I don’t know but maybe because I wrote my comment on their @esteemapp Try it yourself
I used it some when it first started, like the notifications, I have to try it out :)
I use it mostly because I have issues with my spine and can’t sit much on my laptop to reply to comments or to create articles. I also find this app helpful to get notifications. Good luck with it.
They randomly do when you comment on eSteem. Not every comment get it.
