Spending Weekend in Tagaytay

Allow me to share our family activities last Saturday and Sunday March 18 and 19, 2023 held in Tagaytay City.

Before the day came, we are so excited since Monday, we started to plan what are stuffs we need to bring and food to prepare. Because our last family reunion was April 2018 so that was before pandemic with our relatives from Japan. So obviously they are the one who take care of all the expenses just like the before. How lucky we are, seriously.

Call time is 2:00 PM so everyone is expected in tagaytay. My brother in law drive for us together with his family. Heavy traffic came our way going up, we tried to find other route to avoid the traffic. We arrived there at 3:00 PM because the waze app make us go roumd and round but it was still fun.

When we arrive there, the beautiful ambiance expose to us. There is playground, a basketball court, bonefire and grilling area, trees and of course the swimming pool kids favorite. And in inside there was nintendo, billiards, card and board games and a very huge television. And of course my favorite place the kitchen. We eat and eat so many foods like chocolates, fruits and breads. But we still cook for our dinner aside from the food we brought. We cook nilaga for our sister in Japan because she said she cant eat filipino food in Japan so she missed it.

After the dinner, its swimming time. Kids always love swimming eventhough it was very cold. And some of our teens enjoyed, it was their bonding time after a few months. They are very busy with their studies even weekends because of projects for school and its time for a break. And also for me its family time because sometimes i have weekend break with friends. We also have videoke, watch movie and the k-pop lovers watching interviews of their idols.

And for the gentlemen they are drinking liquors. They are exchanging their daily life happennings, struggles, businesses, travels and couples problems.My husband and his brothers and sisters they are complete that night. I also drink a little but more on eating. I played with my nephews and niece on pool side while they are playing in the water. I tried to swimming but i cant. I cant fight the cold its really cold because it was in tagaytay a slight high place we all know its cold there. We got in to bed at 1:00 am, after the boys finished their drinks.

Sunday morning, after we prepare and eat breakfast we played bingo cards. I won only once, it was so exciting because of price awaiting during black out portion it was two thousand at stake. Unfortunately i loose more than three hundred pesos but its okay its really fun. While playing bingo we are eating lunch at the same.

At twelve noon we went to Skyranch. Kids and teens get in rides like roller coaster, carousel and the like. They enjoyed also a lot. It was my first time there eventhough i always go there for other reason.

After the Skyranch we eat first in a fast food chain before going home because its quiet far from our home. And again its traffic again we still tried to find for alternate route we get out of it after two hours.

We thank God for that day, we get together again and we dont know when it will happen again.
