Yes, if there is freedom to grow your own, no limits and no arrests, then that's a great start. That really puts some of the power back in the hands of the people. The more corporate and controlled it is, the worse for the people (and the weed!)
When it happened here, I was very sad... because my wife and I were cannabis activists in Vancouver BC, a central place for cannabis activism and culture. We tried hard to make sure it would not be a corporate takeover. After it happened (including arrests of peaceful people like my wife), I made a documentary about it called Cannabis "Legalization" is a LIE, if you ever have some free time to check it out.
I was hoping to warn people around the world that the same tactic was going to be used there. It seems great, especially to the people who love cannabis. But it's a trap.
Anyway, thanks for listening, have a great day.

I ensure you that I will watch your documentary when i get home tomorrow. Thanks for your insight...and yeah the News were great. After many years of hoping for a legalization, but you have a point. It probably won't be legal to grow when legalized but I don't really care^^

Never would I buy weed for 15€ again - whether it's from the street or the state.

Have a great day/week :)
