Wednesdays are the perfect day for a walk I would say. A long time ago, our friend @tattoodjay started the #wednesdaywalk movement and it matches well with the Make me Smile Collaboration challenge lead by @elizacheng.
This week, I manage a work at home day but have to break out for a walk.
I had a whole morning of catch up and campaign design but I had to get out downtown at some point. What better excuse can you get than to visit a client and shoot some blog pics? Especially when they are as cool as these local business owners.
You heard right, it is time to start making time for the business blog with Town Crier Marketing. We love to put #shoplocal spotlight stories on the blockchain so that the backlinks benefit them with SEO, and those businesses know about #Hive. The practice writing is enough value with the crypto rewards right now. In the future, we will be rewarding local shoppers with $hive via upvotes for sharing content and engaging with our brands. That's just the beginning so follow @town-crier to get the story of these stylish frames and follow our journey into blockchain-boosted small business.
I managed to get out on the dog walking trails a little early this eve. I take this shot every time I come and probably have a hundred of them from every season. Someday, I will get around to combining them all into an animated gif showing all the weather it is fun to #Wednesdaywalk to.
A bit further down the trail, I managed to spin quick enough to catch a shot of my guy in his happy place. He couldn't care less what season it is and is becoming quite the popular feature of my blog. #dogsofhive!
I had to capitalize on a little extra time and a need to take advantage of the summer weather, which is a premium in Canada. I paid a visit to the tree I love to watch this time of year. Right out my front door, this thing goes from full green to red enough to change the light coming into our front room. You get a hint of it in the top of the north side and I will make sure to snap some more as it lights on autumn fire.
Looking west, more blue sky like we have had for 2 full weeks. A couple dry weeks and some nights that dipped below 10 Celsius so the trees are showing some good early colour change.
My daughter showed me a neat picture she took and asked me if it is still a good picture if it was taken on a smart phone. I told her, "hell ya the best camera is the one you have when it is time to capture a moment worth capturing!" I believe that proper resolution and cropping can make almost any picture into a good photo. All I know is that this photo will warm me in the middle of a long winter when I look back to days of walking slowly in bare feet on sunbaked sidewalks.
One last check on the garden in the back yard shows things on the decline. A few colder nights and no rain in the last 14 days is probably spelling the end of The Pickleman Family Garden. I did pull 8 ripe fist-sized tomatoes out of it right after this shot so there is plenty of harvesting to be done. Once the leaves fall on the tree in the corner, we will be taking it down so it doesn't wipe out our fence and hog all the sunlight from the flowers and veggies.
7:21 is when this picture was taken. It would have been 9:00 a couple months ago and will be 4:30 in the middle of winter. The sun still holds a warmth but that won't last long so these mild sunsets are a blessing. The sun has gone down on anotheer #wednesdaywalk and I hope your hump day was as outdoors yet productive as mine was.
Starting to see more mention of @town-crier. Looking forward to seeing this project grow.
So many plans and no time like the present to make time to do the right things. So many hats to wear as a business owner but it will be so!
That is cool what you are doing with Hive and those businesses. Still waiting for the leaves to turn colors here. I love this time of year.
