I was noticing great shadows late this afternoon, too. Or maybe it was just that the sun has been shining so rarely that I was shocked to see Shadows at all!
Late afternoon as the sun goes down the shadows should get stronger as well, but maybe it is the sun is such a novelty the shadows are a new experience again :)
This time of year my morning walks are great for shadows I must say the sun is at just the right angle :)
