My best advice is “trust is everything”

That is indeed good advice. The only issue Im facing is the fact that my partner grew up in environment of distrust and even 5 years being together doesnt seem to be helping much.

I already spoke to her number of times and underlined that her lack of trust will only build my distrust towards her. I hope sooner than later I will make her understand, that trust cannot be just one way street.

Last July my wife and I ran with the bulls in Pamplona Spain.

Oh wow. That sounds like a real adventure :)
