My experience with Fiverr

For those who are not familiar with the website. It is similar to Upwork. You can buy/sell services in a wide range of fields. From getting your CV updated to someone making a video on a topic that choose.
Out of my 10 experience, one was pretty good, rest was pure lost money. Average these out and you get a below average website.
Main comments:

  1. LOW SERVICE QUALITY
Prices are low but unfortunately this applies to the skills of the people on the site. Exceptions can be found but they come with prices you would pay in your country.

  2. LOT OF SCAM
Full of people from developing countries with no real skills, makes it difficult to find the right matches. Sorry, not to be racist, it's just a sad fact.

  3. PLAGIARISM
Lot of sellers sell copied works, so you might run into some legal issues if you use it for your work

  4. REVIEWS suck
Once you request a review, the seller will take shortcuts and try to get rid of you ASAP. This can be very annoying as you investing time to explain and it feels like you are talking to a wall. Man, this part annoyed me the most.

  5. POSITIVES
You can get lucky if your requirements are mainstream and you don’t require good quality, just for fun or you simply do not care.

Generally would not RECOMMEND.
