It’s not always obvious how much of an effect that the weather will have on a trip. Getting to know your destination is a big part of travelling and understanding the seasons and general climate is a huge factor that will influence many parts of preparation. This includes things like packing the right clothing, travelling at certain times of the year and understanding how to get around in even some of the more extreme weather events.
Having an understanding of weather has been a great foundation of my travels and this has only strengthened over the years. While some countries experience rather limited weather changes, this may be different in other destinations so it’s important to be clued in.
