If you have ever wondered what it takes to become wealthy, look to your heart for the answer. You first have to think about what wealth is and what it means to be wealthy. Wealth does not mean you possess large amounts of fiat currency backed by nothing more than the stroke of a keyboard. Wealth is deeper than that. Wealth is happiness. No amount of money will make you happy. You can't put a price on a smile. Real wealth comes when you can put down the material things in this world and embrace life at its core. Family and fellowship. When you love others for who they are, they will return this love in the richest of ways. I pull all of my inspiration from my wife and children. They show their appreciation for the many hardships that have befuddled me along the way in the best way possible. They love me. Unconditionally. This makes me feel like the richest man on earth. Of coarse a large portion of the world would see this as fool's beliefs. But a large portion of the world is also self centered and fueled purely by how they persieve themselves in it. It is a status symbol to drive that expensive car, or to own an expensive home that is excessively over sized for an occupancy of 2. The human element in our lives only requires us to be just that. Human. Humans love. Humans feel. They can touch your heart in so many ways that a car or phone or a house or money never could. All you have to do is make a memory and it will follow you until the end of your days. This is how you build wealth. The more memories you make the more rich and full your life will be. Why chase dollars? What are you going to leave this earth with that will hold any significance to you when you are gone? No material thing! Even the casket will turn to dust! Your memory though, the memory of who you are and what you believe in will live on forever with the ones that held you dear to them. Not because you bought them things or you left them all of your amassed material possessions, but because you loved them. Everything is possible through love. It opens every door. The richest men in the world agree! Do You?
I couldn't agree more that wealth is happiness ! even the richest men might have all the money in the world but aren't happy they always feel something is missing and try to mask it because they are just not happy ! Have a great a day and keep on steeming =)
Thank you! This is my first blog ever. It is awesome to receive feed back almost immediately. Have a great day!
Great article!
You hit the nail on the head. Love and relationships are what we all need, and it is the most fulfilling thing in life, to love, and be loved. Not Hollywood's perverted definition of love, but true genuine love for our fellowman. The 2nd great Commandment, "Love your neighbor as yourself."
