MISTAKE #1: TRUSTING THE ADVICE OF UNSUCCESSFUL PEOPLE
If you pattern your behavior after a person who has failed to make and keep money, you should expect to achieve a similar level of wealth to what he or she has achieved. Since the great majority of Americans reach retirement age with no savings at all, you should develop the habit of considering that the opposite of their opinions might be closer to the truth.
An excellent idea is to hang out with people who are financially successful. Make yourself desirable to be around. For some successful individuals, it is enough that you have an open mind, that you want to learn, and that you are willing to listen to them and give them sincere attention.
Since most people have their incorrect beliefs about money set in stone, it is rare for the wealthy person to meet someone who is actually receptive to hearing his advice.
If this is not sufficient, you might want to offer to buy your potential mentor lunch or otherwise give him or her a material incentive to want to hang out with you. In other words, in some way you want there to be an exchange of values, so that you are not perceived by the successful individual as being a liability looking for a free handout.
MISTAKE #2: NOT DOING WHAT YOU LOVE
This is the mistake of staying in a job or sticking with a business for which you have no real passion, just because you can get an income from it.
The problem is not that you won't make some money, but that the person you will become is not the happy person who would be most successful. You will become a person who cannot succeed spectacularly in life.
MISTAKE #3: NOT BEING WILLING TO DO WHATEVER IT TAKES
Often you never actually have to DO whatever it takes, because the situation never comes up that requires this. But you must be WILLING to do whatever it takes. This is the magic.
MISTAKE #4: FALLING FOR SALES PITCHES
The salesman's job is to tell you that his product will provide you with everything in life that you want and desire, from wealth to romance to happiness. Since he is selling the product or service, the salesman is going to put a wonderfully positive spin on it.
A poor salesman nags you to buy his product or service, whether you want it or not. A good salesman finds out exactly what the buyer wants first, and then designs his sales pitch to promise that he will deliver exactly what is wanted, and everything that is wanted, whether this has the slightest amount of truth or not.
If the salesman is sincere and actually believes that his product and service will do all things for all people, even better. After all, sincerity is the most important thing, and when you can fake that, you've got it made! [Just kidding]. Disclaimer: Of course, there are some honest salespeople, and I respect them. However, the 95% that stretch the truth give a bad reputation to the whole profession!
MISTAKE #5: THINKING THAT A CONSUMER PURCHASE CAN BE AN INVESTMENT
Many people fool themselves into thinking that wise purchasing of consumer items constitutes investing. For example, buying extra unneeded items because they are on sale.
Actually, all this does is eat up your capital. No matter how small the price charged for the item, your total amount of money is still reduced.

This looks a lot better. You did a great job by adding the pictures. Sorry for the delayed response. Just remember that your first picture is the one in the preview so if you want to change it, that might be a thought. Now you just need to post more content. I would suggest at least 2 or 3 a day. minimum. good luck.
Thank you so much for your feedback. I will work on implementing your suggestions. I value your opinions because your posts are really professional and always interesting to read. Have fun with your projects!
