Happy boxing day hive family? Hoping you had a wonderful time with family and friends on Christmas day. It's almost the end of the year and it's always good to spend time with the ones we love.
My Christmas was not any different to "normal" days. Wake up and find something to do, only that it was a few hours of work. Not much happening since the festive mode is activated. People stay at home to help with cooking and catching up since most people come home for Christmas. The rest of the time is spent away working in the cities which are far from home.
A day before Christmas a lot of slaughtering is done, kneading dough and preparing veggies. The next day cooking starts early. People in Kenya do really eat on such occasions. We say food cannot make you drunk.
A friend took me to a gaming shop and we played some fifa. That was really fun for me. It's one of my happiest moments in life; that was my Christmas gift.
On a boxing day, a cloudy Sunday, people are off to church and there is not much happening, though the feasting is still ongoing. I get to rest preparing for a busy week ahead. That's how I do it. All in all it's a blessing to be alive, happy , healthy waking up to see another day one at a time. And to top it all up the day is concluded by a big rain which is considered a blessing.
Hope you are having a good day and enjoying the rest of the year. Hopefully we will march into the new year together. Stay safe and take care!
Bye for now.
