On 6th January, 2018, the renowned Ghanaian boxer Isaac Dogboe (The Royal Storm), downed the famous Mexican boxer Cesar Juarez at the Bukom Banku Boxing Arena in Accra, Ghana.
The Mexican warrior, who has won twenty,20 and lost five,5 times in 25 fights was knocked out by Dogboe on the fifth round to cliche to the WBO Interim Super Bantamweight title. The 23-year-old Ghanaian boxer, who boasts of an undefeated record now has 18 wins out of 18 bout. It's the first time in 20 years a Ghanaian boxer has won a world title at home.
The winner of the bout, Dogboe, is expected to challenge WBO title holder Jessie Magdaleno in the middle of the year.
