Idea for the Ecency Points:
Exchanging it for Hive Power, or for Hive Dollar (HBD) savings.
For example currently I would gladly exchange 2150 Ecency Points ($4.30 USD) for 24.30 Hive power (currently 1 Hive is $0.177 HBD), or for $4.30 HBD.

Currently this is only my idea/suggestion, and not an implemented Ecency function.
Hopefully the @ecency development team will consider implementing this (or a similar) function into Ecency.

Feel free to make an account which exchanges points for Hive
This should be an official built-in function in Ecency.
Especially after the Ecency Points buying (for fiat money!) function is already available.
A proper market has both buyers and sellers too. Not only one seller (Ecency), and other than that only buyers.

Also, there would be way more people selling Ecency Points than buying and I don't think Ecency should foot the bill for that.
Ecency would not need to pay the sellers.
The Ecency Points should at least be a transferable token to the Hive Engine.
Just like Splintershards (SPS), Dark Energy Crystals (DEC), and many other tokens.
You can both buy and sell these tokens.
And supply and demand is deciding their prices.

You can also make a token which reflect Ecency points where people can swap Ecency Points for your token and you can then sell your token on HE.

Sure. Everyone can make a token, and there will be millions of tokens, most of them worthless. 80%, or maybe even more of the Hive Engine tokens are already worthless. Most of the people are only selling them.
