But nowadays I also rarely check the web version of Waves/Ecency.
Back on the old history books, there was this ancient web app called Twitter. Which crashed all the time giving you a whale being carried by some birds. Famously it was named a Fail whale.
Now Ecency gives you a close reminder of it.
I know Twitter, and I also used it a few times, but I have not seen this screen on it.
I would rather think that the whale on Ecency is rather a Steem/Hive related thing.
