Most people earn cents, or a few dollars on the Hive blockchain most of the time.

Even a begging homeless person earn more.
And often receive foods and drinks for free.

So it is simply not worth it. And the general lack of real content consumers just makes it even worse.

95% (or more) of the Hive blockchain users are content creators, and only 5% (or less) are content consumers, or simply automated curators, who do not even see the contents, which they curate.

So it is not worth it from this aspect either.

And the current value of the Hive is so low that I do not even bother selling it.

By the way, currently technically I am also homeless, because currently I live in a tent.

Whether it is worth it is up to each person, but lots are posting most days anyway. Social media is not purely about money as most of us won't earn from it on other platforms. I don't think you can generalise about how people use it. There are some very active communities around different interests. If people were not consuming it then you would not see so many comments.

Of course there are lots of people just automatically voting as a form of passive income and that is fine, but I am more interested in those who participate.

So if it is not worth it, why are you still posting? Do you have an audience?

I hope life in a tent is not too bad for you.
