Sometimes people need space to reflect, and most of the time it’s us. Given time, they might come back and apologise. But yeah, I had to mute / block someone today for downvoting my content.
This colleague of mine has a reputation for being nasty. Now he’s acting as a road block when the thing is not causing him pain but he’s a hindrance to my work but I am not arguing as he’s unreasonable. Trying to reason with unreasonable is as if getting man to deliver babies via our tummy. Owl theory
My suggestion would be to go above him and talk to a superior to get the thing done.
Yup i escalated, decade ago i would try to resolve. A decade later I do what’s within me and once it’s out and ppl are not negotiating then next better player.
