There are also benefits like a free meal, sometimes stuff to take home, but also a free police clearance for job applications. Mostly though I like to network with people to see what other jobs are available.

When you focus on work and putting in effort, people can see what you’re doing. Then they will offer you opportunities for more work, and more pay, etc. If you are consistent with your thoughts, speech, actions, people will reward that.
