As far as I know, you are pretty young... you will have plenty time to struggle with procrastination for a long time to come! Hahahaha!

How old do you think I am?

I wish I wasn't a procrastinator, I could be way more productive.

Well.... young... something under 25 probably. lol
Who knows though. I doubt you are over 40. Haha.

Indeed, we all wish we procrastinated less and were productive more.

No matter how much I achieve, I feel like I procrastinate too much.

I'm somewhere in between those numbers lol.

I know that feeling. No matter what I achieve, I feel it's not enough to feel good with myself.

All we can do is pick up the next thing and just go for it!

You're right. We just have to keep going 😊

Many of us do too, even the best of us. Especially on things that we don't consider paramount.
For you to identify it, then it means you have a high level of self awareness and are ready to change where possible.

If you think it's a bit too incessant, you could try reading books to get better at overcome inertia syndrome and doing what you need to do even when you don't feel like it.

Like they say, when we know better, we tend to do better.

Asides that, I think you're doing great friend!

Thank you very much.

Most times I get overwhelmed and then I stop what I'm doing or delay what I need/have to do just to have some fun time.

What is that 'inertia syndrome'?

Ohhh it's a term I kind of coined in my first ever blog post.

A syndrome is basically a constellation of symptoms, so I wrote about different signs and symptoms one would have when experiencing the Inertia Syndrome.

I shared the link in my introductory post to hive and I could share the link here too if you would love to read about it.

Yes, please. Share it with me.

Okay. Will do shortly.

The lazy-man thought (slothfulness)
The “what if it doesn’t work out” thought (fear of the unknown)
The “I don’t think I can do it” thought (low self esteem, incompetence )
The “I cannot do it alone’ thought (lack of believe in oneself)
The “I am scared of the outcome” thought (fear of the unknown)
The “I’ll do It tomorrow” thought (procrastination).

I have all of them 😩

Lol. Even the best of us do.

I think one way to help overcome Inertia is to get accountable.

You can have someone who holds you accountable on things that are important for you to achieve.

Scheduling your important tasks too can work.
But the first is more effective.

Yeah it's truly hard to deal with. What I would suggest is to start a good prayer life daily. It can help out in some way.

Start with the Angelus and 3 o'clock prayer. Then you can progress from there. If you wanna do daily rosary immediately that's fine too.
