You can follow as many as you want, but managing your Resource Credits and Voting Power is key. If you follow too many, you'll deplete your Voting Power quickly. As @melinda010100 says, you'll need to adjust your follows and voting percentages to ensure you do that effectively. Start out small and build from there.
I think you should watch your voting power and make adjustments.
