Spending USD to get points to attempt milking bits of HIVE by Upvoting doesn't even generate break even.
It would be a much better functionality if one can buy Ecency points and then swap them for HIVE.

Anybody earning Ecency points from Delegations can then Swap the points for Hive, earning even more on top on that, that might be too much.
Also, there would need to be an internal market for user-to-user since it wouldn't make sense of Ecency should hold the amount of Hive required for the swaps.
Also, might be weird when Ecency can "Mint" new points out of thin air
Think 🤔 about it. It would be a very easy way to buy HIVE with credit cards
I think the only difference between these two is investing to buy Hive and investing to earn Hive.

I've never bought Ecency points, but I can buy $HIVE for fiat via Transak. I'd happily sell some points as I don't use them
I have used ecency.com points for boosting 200+ HP
That will not earn you very much, but it may help people who have very little HP. It's not really woth it to me.

Actually I like the previous way of spending points and that was using point for upvote..
Have you used your Points to receive a delegation from Ecency? Curators give out Ecency votes on posts published using Ecency with no need to use your Points.
