In Germany metro and especially DB (train) is always late and they would never wait for you.
Ohh , but our side metro train is running an interval of two to five minutes only. So no issue if one is gone ๐.
Depending on the area and the day, you have to wait 1 hour or 30 minutes. Weekdays they come every 10 or 15 minutes, especially at rush hours.
Hopefully you traveled pleasantly. It's good to let them wait sometimes
