Yesterday I went to buy a few beers. The pretty cashier asked me for my ID. I gave her my card and said "It's been a long time since I've been asked for that". Looking at my 1976 birth date, she got all blustered and apologized. #funny #beer
A lovely compliment! The last time I got carded was accompanying my daughter to hear a musician that she desperately wanted to see into a venue that served alcohol. She was in college. I was really surprised when they asked me for an ID!
