Oh! Yes! The sting is very painful indeed! Big ones’ sting could be lethal! In the past my father’s gardener disturbed scorpion nest unintentionally. His feet were stung by several tiny baby scorpions which he thought were black ants! I had to tell him to get out fast. He was complaining of the sharp pain by small stings!
I do have lots of respect from these scorpions; they are very protective towards their babies. The adult would march in a row with aggressive postures showing their tails high up while their babies marched behind them. Incredible.
