Today was a good Day! Me and my partner went to De Nollen at Den Helder (The Netherlands). It's a museum completely dedicated to the work of Artist R.W. van de Wint. His artwork are huge, the weather was lovely, good for an outdoor art experience.
It's so cool to find out what moves the Artist, He is famous in Holland, his work is even in the parlement. He has created this museum that now is being taken care of by his sons.
When we do something that ls good just like the art he created in the mesuem, people will like it once they see lt and so will more people learns of our exceptional work.

I have HiveBuzz muted to avoid receiving unwanted comments on my posts. Now with the choice of being able to click on your icon if I want to see them I feel I have some control and can unmute.
Although I understand your approach, it may not be valid for all users. You could have simply used the opt-out option we have been offering since the creation of this project. This is what differentiates us from all the other bots that clutter Hive.
The UK is banning disposable vapes for their environmental health hazards.
Vapes have not been around long enough for us to know their long term effects. They are said to be "safer" than cigar
Personally, I think this is a good step forward.
It's good to get people off cigarettes, but kids are going straight to vaping. These things need to be more regulated and definitely not disposable. There is likely to be a black market for them.
Kids might resort to obtaining vaoes using illegal means which might mean that they could get products laced with dangerous heavy metals that would cause long term health problems.
But, these things must be regulated and it has to start somewhere.
Yep. I've been smoking cigarettes since I was 12 years old and it's a little hard to quit it, but I'm working on it. I already went from smoking two packs a day to 4-5 cigarettes a day.
Some people have experienced some post quiting coughing with quiting smoking. It's not so common but it's good to know that it may happen and shouldn't get you worried.
I receive many comments on my posts and try to reply to them all, and then Waves comments add up, too! Plus I have lots of time to be actively using Ecency!

That's a good question, for a social network, the term social is what gives it relevance. And I think you're right that content creation is more inclined towards publication than interaction, although that's just my impression and I don't have reliable data to confirm this.
The problem is that many people do not care about the content. Sometimes not even as a so called content creator. Most Hive posts are ignored/overlooked because of the general lack of the real content consumers. Most people are focused so much on the rewards that this is how they ruin an otherwise technically revolutionary platform.
Commenting on something close to the topic, you remind me of a couple of projects I once read about a curation group for comments on posts, as a way to encourage more people to participate and interact with the content.
Unfortunately, I don't know how the idea has progressed, nor do I know if the group in question is still working.
And I think you're right that if we don't manage to attract attention to the content, and achieve greater visibility of the blockchain among more people, with applications for use and active communities, then things can get complicated.

This monument in the cemetery honors their two faithful dogs. It's sad that the dog statues have deteriorated over the years, but the thought is touching.

I remember I saw a grave like that somewhere in the world. It had a Dog statue on the grave and the legend "A good, loyal and loved boy". It had more words under those but they were blurry.
Thank you everyone who commented on the yummy oatcakes: they are very easy to make; oats, hot water, oil (or butter), salt and baking soda - with added cumin and turmeric. Mix together and roll out about 3mm thick, then shape into flat biscuits (either by hand or by using a beaker to cut out circles). Bake 20 mins or so in a medium oven, til golden brown. Nutritious snack - super tasty with cheese and chutney or butter and jam.
Chunks of pork, sautéed with garlic and onion, pineapple chunks, bit of water. Seasoned with soy sauce, salt, black pepper, cooked until tender. Add bell peppers, sliced onion rings. Served piping hot with steaming rice, a hearty meal!
It’s joyful and that’s the idea. The singer was especially good, powerful voice and he walked the audience serenading us all with stories of love, celebration etc - my limited understanding of Spanish!!!
There is a local Mexican restaurant near me that occasionally has a mariarchi night and the musicians walk between tables serenading diners. I've been a few times and loved it.
It was fantastic, it was followed up by the history of the Mayans which was entrancing, hypnotic and very very well done. Dance and lots of interesting instrumental sounds.
The kefir tastes pretty interesting. Clare is getting better at it.

This monument in the cemetery honors their two faithful dogs. It's sad that the dog statues have deteriorated over the years, but the thought is touching.

The thought is really touching.
Faithful dogs deserve to be honoured.
I remember I saw a grave like that somewhere in the world. It had a Dog statue on the grave and the legend "A good, loyal and loved boy". It had more words under those but they were blurry.

Thank you everyone who commented on the yummy oatcakes: they are very easy to make; oats, hot water, oil (or butter), salt and baking soda - with added cumin and turmeric. Mix together and roll out about 3mm thick, then shape into flat biscuits (either by hand or by using a beaker to cut out circles). Bake 20 mins or so in a medium oven, til golden brown. Nutritious snack - super tasty with cheese and chutney or butter and jam.

It’s joyful and that’s the idea. The singer was especially good, powerful voice and he walked the audience serenading us all with stories of love, celebration etc - my limited understanding of Spanish!!!
There is a local Mexican restaurant near me that occasionally has a mariarchi night and the musicians walk between tables serenading diners. I've been a few times and loved it.
