Not that much, translating a internal api lib from node to python

You're right, not overly exciting.
I'm thinking about doing a system for a dropship supplier to integrate to the dropshippers, with the possibility of registered vendors to have their products pushed to whoever wants to sell them and the owner then gets royalty.

Thinking of using Laravel or Codeigniter framework. Any suggestion as to which I should use?

i never used codeigniter and just a few times laravel. laravel has a lot of templates thats cool, so you have often a lot of work done. anyway not a php fan :) i try to not touch it anymore. Have some clients with some 15 yeas old apps that we still maintain. But i was lucky and the boss employed a new one, so i can pass that stuff. And he likes php :)

With the info you have, what would you use instead? (Still haven't decided if it should be one of the two or something completely different)

i would do probably something with node. and maybee use next.js or not. for frontend i would use vue.
