I need someone to explain to me why I can't promote an article, when choosing it it takes more than 10 minutes and I can never promote it despite having the points.

If POINTS are deducted, then you can be sure your request went through OK.

ecency.com/promoted. If the promoted que is long you may need to refresh to see your post in the list.
