Writing and studying water issues are something I have done for several years. It seems everyone is doing it . I put up pics of plastic in swirls in the ocean, spills in rivers, and the runoff from big agriculture. Non profits scream the sky is falling and then stick out their hand for donations. This water issue and issues are an industry collecting money from good meaning people who want a solution. While we make ourselves feel better by pontificating on how noble our cause , children and adults drink dirty water and even carry for a distance to take home. The hypocrisy of this is more than the average person can absorb and handle. So, they give money and say they are involved. Enough, all these water orgs with their endorsements and guides are only furthering their own cottage industry. Does anyone besides me notice that the water issue is getting worse. Norway imposes deposit on plastic and they claim to recycle 97 percent of the plastic for recycle . Great. Now, why is that the rest of us do not demand the same in the rest of the world. Alabama has people living without running water and no one wants to do something as it crosses territories of other water orgs. So, great excuse for this, and the governor is from the same designate county, WILCOX. This is the true example of of systemic racism , against the poor. If we cannot hear you, you do not matter. I say, buy a water filter for the poor. Get it installed and go from community to community. Do not give your donations to some lofty group, run my the elite Kennedy clan and their minions as they lay claim to water work worldwide . There is no territory for compassion. I am writing this strongly as I want to prompt others to bring solutions. We all can buy a filter for a family in need.
