North Korea has purportedly heightened the war of words with Donald Trump, blaming the US president for lighting "the wick of war".
Addressing Russia's state-run TASS news organization, North Korea's Foreign Minister Ri Yong Ho said his nation's atomic program ensured peace and wellbeing in the locale and would not involve exchange.
"With his aggressive and crazy articulation at the United Nations, Trump, you can state, has lit the wick of a war against us," TASS cited Mr Ri as saying. "We have to settle the last score, just with a hail of flame, not words."
Mr Ri was alluding to the US president's discourse at the United Nation, where he undermined the "aggregate devastation" of North Korea should it assault the US.
A month ago, the outside clergyman additionally said Mr Trump had proclaimed war by tweeting that pioneer Kim Jong-un "won't associate with any longer".
