Thank you for the award!

I really enjoyed this post. Its nice to see you doing your own thing in how you present the text and images on the blog. It shows creativity. I also thought the post was very well written. I look forward to reading more as you post! I read your first post too, how has your experience been on Steemit so far?

Thanks a lot for your feedback! I think Steemit is a really cool idea, but it is sometimes difficult for me to find blog posts which are interesting for me. I am also not so happy about the possibilities for the edition of the blog posts. Why is it always left-aligned? And the pictures are huge when you look at them on the laptop. On the phone it is OK, but I noticed that for this blog post the text is too small... what are your experiences?

I think the platform is at a critical time where it needs to define itself and refine the site. So far, I have really loved the platform, mostly because I have a lot to share. In terms of finding content, I barely ever go onto the trending or hot pages since its hard to find what I want to see there. But as soon as I find an author or creator that I like, I make sure to follow them so that their material comes up in my personal feed, a little like my facebook page. I have also found it a little annoying that you cannot change the size of pictures, but what you can do is align them to a column using markdown code. All in all though, as it says next to the steemit sign on the top left hand side of all the pages, Steemit is still in beta phase which means that they still believe there will be a lot of improvements to the site.

My only worry with Steemit is that the way that their interface is set up paired with the issue which you brought up, that new users struggle to find content that keeps them interested in the site, makes me fear that the amount of new users who come to the site and stay engaged will decrease.

Regardless though, I'm having a great time on here mostly just because of the social online relationships you can form with other steemers. Everyone is so keen to communicate with one another which makes for a delightful social experience. Best of luck with the platform in the future :) My only recommendation would be to choose who you follow carefully so that what comes up on your personal feed is the kind of content that you want to see :)

Wow, thanks for your detailed reply! I couldn't agree more. I hope that steemit will stay and be more and more an interesting platform which allows a completely new way of social media intercation and hopefully it will not be spammed with trashy content!
