Nice to see all that snow--this is the only skiing I am getting in this winter. We are supposed to have 'significant' snowfall in Nova Scotia this week, so we could get all the winter's snow in March (or none). Last week's storm was a dud in Halifax.
I can definitely see a GoPro in my future--great captures and even the shoulder mount beats holding a camera in one hand while rocketing down the Cape Breton Highlands trails at Ski Tuonela (http://skituonela.com/ ). If I did not have it on my bike helmet, I think I would try mounting it on a headband. I bet you miss those hills in the Highlands--not climbing them, but coming down was so much fun. Maybe next winter.
Yeah, the hills here are pretty tame compared to the Highlands, except for the cliffs. They're also not groomed so it's a little trickier coming down.
We'll have to get the GoPro up on the mast of the sailboat this year.

I would never miss the snow if I could do without it. But, I'm not much of a winter person even though I'm Canadian.

I hope you get some of that 'walk with me' through an ice fishing village before you leave--and I really hope that does not mean staying an extra year. Maybe you've missed it this year. I'm sure lots of steemit members have not seen anything like it.
Doh!! I completely kept putting off taking a walk down there. They just cleared out last weekend because the weather had been really warm. Procrastinated that a little too far. Looks like I'm getting another year to get some pics of it anyway.
