I highly highly recommend Rifle Mountain Park! While I hate the town, I love the park!! It is home to my favorite spot in the whole world!! A place I call butterfly island. It's a beaver pond towards the top of the park. I even buried my pup Keehta there when she passed away (many many years ago) and on the other side of the park are awesome dog friendly trails!!
