Was told once that an egg can be good for a couple days so always leave one egg a day when gathering eggs but take a marker an put a dot on the one u leave an swap it out the next time so it don't go bad . Or get a fake egg an leave in the nest . That is to keep them going back to the same nest. :) Just an opinion
