We had some fog yesterday too but it only stayed in the hills. Hm that sounds like a cool horror movie - Fog in the hills. hahah.
So I think I was hearing what you are talking about. Is it the crackling sound? I think it's pretty cool. You are very lucky to be able to benefit from such views. I am happy for you. And you are quite the photographer too :)
