🥙 2 pieces of lavash bread
🧀 4 slices of cheddar cheese
🧅 ½ red onion
🍅 1 tomato
🥬 Fresh lettuce leaves
🌶️ 2 tsp BBQ sauce
🍅 2 tsp ketchup
🥚 2 tsp mayonnaise
🌿 1 tsp mustard
🧂 1 tsp salt
🌶️ ½ tsp black pepper

Instructions

1- Prepare Lavash:

  • Lay two pieces of lavash bread flat on a wooden cutting board.
  • Ensure each lavash piece is ready to be topped.

2- Divide and Spread Mince:

  • Divide the beef mince into two portions.
  • Spread each portion thinly over one half of each lavash piece, ensuring a consistent layer.
  • Season with salt and black pepper.

3- Cook Mince on Lavash:

  • Heat a non-stick frying pan over medium-high on an induction hob.
  • Carefully place the lavash, mince-side down, in the pan using tongs.
  • Cook for 3-5 minutes until the mince is browned and cooked through.

4- Melt Cheese:

  • Flip the lavash over to cook the other side.
  • Place two cheddar cheese slices on top of each cooked mince while the pan side crisps.

5- Prepare Vegetables:

  • Thinly slice the red onion and tomato.
  • Keep the sliced vegetables ready to be assembled.

6- Mix Sauce:

  • In a small white ceramic bowl, mix BBQ sauce, ketchup, mayonnaise, and mustard using a metal teaspoon.
  • Combine until well blended.

7- Assemble the Wrap:

  • Once cheese is melted, transfer the lavash back to the cutting board.
  • Layer with tomato slices and red onion.
  • Drizzle the sauce generously and add lettuce leaves.

8- Fold and Serve:

  • Fold the lavash in half, encasing all the fillings. Repeat for the second lavash.
  • Cut each folded wrap in half using a chef's knife and serve immediately.
