My account has a special data-admin status, which allowed me to upvote updates with $0.00001 before. Now that all users can enjoy the same privilege, does this mean that the special admin status is no longer in effect?

Certainly not. Data-admin status offers a 10X privilege, reducing your minimum upvote requirements to $0.000001 (1/1000 of a cent instead of 1/100 of a cent for regular users). Essentially, as a data admin, your WAIV Power requirements are now reduced by a factor of ten.
An important detail to note is that Hive Engine's second-layer blockchain allows for the recording of upvotes with a precision of 10,000 fractions. Additionally, Vote Power replenishes at a rate of 20% per day, identical for both WAIV Power and HIVE Power. This implies that to remain within the 20% daily mana recharge rate, one can cast a maximum of 2,000 upvotes before their WAIV mana falls below 80%.
On average, a product includes 20 updates, and each update necessitates an upvote. Does this imply that I am limited to posting only 100 products per day regardless of my account status?
If you can allow mana to go below 80%, say down to 20% you can publish 400 new products in a day, but then it will take 4 days for your WAIV mana to restore to 100%.
Alternatively, you can simultaneously use multiple accounts. With the WAIV Power requirements now tenfold lower, you have the option to delegate 10% to nine other accounts.
Given your account's data-admin status, you require no more than $70 worth of WAIV Power (1,400 WP at current exchange rates). Regarding resource credits, approximately $140 worth of HIVE Power (450 HP) may be necessary.
Regular users will require $700 in WAIV power and $140 in HIVE Power to achieve these maximum performance goals.
That's a piece of cake. Appreciate the enlightenment! 😎
